《營養(yǎng)學(xué)評論》發(fā)表有關(guān)營養(yǎng)學(xué)、營養(yǎng)學(xué)、食品科學(xué)、實(shí)驗(yàn)和臨床營養(yǎng)學(xué)研究、醫(yī)學(xué)營養(yǎng)學(xué)和食品營養(yǎng)學(xué)立法和政策的權(quán)威性和批判性評論文章（非原創(chuàng)研究）。應(yīng)清楚地概述本專題的生物學(xué)和實(shí)際營養(yǎng)意義。重要的是，讀者不僅要了解一個(gè)特定的主題，而且要了解它為什么重要和/或與廣泛的營養(yǎng)領(lǐng)域相關(guān)。營養(yǎng)評論的讀者包括營養(yǎng)科學(xué)家、研究人員、從業(yè)者和學(xué)生。讀者群是國際性的，分布在75多個(gè)國家。主要綜述文章是對一個(gè)廣泛主題的全面綜述；特別文章也是全面的，但傾向于處理更為集中的主題；臨床營養(yǎng)學(xué)的主題只關(guān)注臨床領(lǐng)域；營養(yǎng)學(xué)大循環(huán)提供了一個(gè)案例研究，并附有一個(gè)簡短的文獻(xiàn)綜述；營養(yǎng)學(xué)政策文章涉及當(dāng)前主題與國內(nèi)和/或國際政策問題相關(guān)的營養(yǎng)科學(xué)；以及簡要的評論，討論營養(yǎng)研究相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的當(dāng)前研究，并在更廣泛的研究范圍內(nèi)解釋該主題的研究結(jié)果。

Nutrition Reviews publishes authoritative and critical review articles (not original research) of current topics in nutrition science, dietetics, food science, experimental and clinical nutrition research, nutrition in medicine and food and nutrition legislation and policy. Biologic and practical nutritional implications of the topic should be clearly outlined. It is important that the reader learn not only about a particular topic, but why it is important and/or relevant to the broad field of nutrition. Nutrition Reviews readers are nutrition scientists, researchers, practitioners, and students. The readership is international with distribution to more than 75 countries. Lead Review Articles are comprehensive reviews of a broad topic; Special Articles are also comprehensive, but tend to deal with more focused topics; Topics in Clinical Nutrition focus only on clinical areas; Nutrition Grand Rounds present a case study accompanied by a brief literature review; Nutrition Science Policy articles address current topics in nutrition science as they relate to domestic and/or international policy issues; and Brief Critical Reviews discuss a current study in a relevant area of nutrition research and explain the findings within the context of the larger body of research on that topic.
